AN UNEXPECTED BEGINNING.
IT STARTED WITH ONE BRACELET.

MILITARY LIFE TO MILITARY WIFE.
Growing up as the oldest daughter of a United States Marine and living a stone’s throw from the largest Navy base in the world, Emily is no stranger to military life. She and her husband met in late October and were married almost two years later. Since that time, they have welcomed three children and embraced the daily challenges of a military lifestyle, no matter where the Navy takes them.
NOT YOUR ORDINARY PICNIC.
On June 17, 2018, Emily was preparing to attend - yet another - command picnic with her husband. Wanting something different than any of the nautical and anchor themed pieces of jewelry she owned, Emily decided to try her hand at making something she had never seen before. A few beads and several trials and errors later, she was pleased with the outcome of what would unknowingly be the start of Seaport Sweetheart Designs.
EVERY CUSTOMER IS IMPORTANT.
At the suggestion of a friend and fellow Navy spouse, Emily decided to start selling the bracelet she had made to wear just a month before. Today, Seaport Sweetheart Designs is gaining attention from shoppers and small business owners across town and across the country. Emily’s mix of southern style and coastal living has grown to become a local favorite, and Seaport Sweetheart Designs can be found in select small businesses throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Emily invites customers to shop online and in-store, and is an advocate for shopping small and shopping local. With no plans to open a brick and mortar storefront, Seaport Sweetheart Designs continues to grow as an e-commerce company providing quality made pieces and always remembering to make every customer feel like family.
AT THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY.
Seaport Sweetheart Designs welcomes inquiries from small businesses throughout the United States and donates a portion of all purchases to Wreaths Across America. Emily volunteers as one of the team leaders for Team Tidewater and will assist in laying wreaths at Hampton National Cemetery on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in support of Wreaths Across America’s annual mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
