Emily Davis—Virginia Beach native, proud military spouse, and the creative force behind B. Rowe & Co.—was raised on the hallmarks of Southern heritage. As the daughter of Chapel Hill alumni, she grew up in a world where sweet tea was practically a love language, college football bordered on religion, and monograms were less a trend and more a birthright. Jewelry, stationery, and gracious living were woven into the fabric of her upbringing, thanks to her mother—whom Emily still considers one of the finest Southern ladies ever to bless the earth below the Mason-Dixon Line.

On June 17, 2018, while preparing for yet another command function with her husband, Emily wanted something different—something not anchored in the predictable nautical motifs she already owned. So, she created her own. What began as a simple attempt to make one piece unlike any other quietly became the first spark of what would grow into B. Rowe & Co.

The unexpected loss of her parents shifted Emily’s world. B. Rowe & Co. became more than a creative outlet—it became a lifeline. In the quiet of the studio, surrounded by pearls, paper, and memory, Emily found solace. Our beloved stationery and paper décor collections are inspired by her mother’s impeccable taste and unwavering belief that life’s moments—large or small—deserve to be beautifully documented. Every design is created with the same discerning eye her mother taught her to honor.

Rowe & Co. has become a destination for refined jewelry, elevated paper goods, and soon—our newest adventure—a collection of colorful, thoughtfully designed dresses available in sizes XS to 3X.
