The Bancroft Station Necklace takes the distinctive sphere of our Bancroft design and sends it all the way around. Sculptural brushed gold stations are positioned at generous intervals along a delicate gold chain, each accented with petite polished gold domes scattered across the surface rather than arranged in any predictable pattern.

That contrast is what makes the Bancroft Station Necklace particularly good. The softly brushed spheres absorb the light with a warm, understated glow, while the polished gold dots catch it in tiny flashes. Nothing sparkles. Nothing shouts. We love the juxtaposition of the softly brushed spheres against those tiny polished gold domes. The scattered placement keeps the design from feeling overly perfect, while the delicate chain and generous negative space give each station room to make its own little statement.

HOW TO WEAR IT

Start with the Bancroft Station Necklace on its own. At 28 inches, it creates an elongated line that works particularly well over a crisp white shirt, fine-gauge sweater, simple dress, or the sort of navy blazer that never really leaves the rotation.

The scattered polished domes give the necklace enough visual interest that it does not need much company. But should you decide more gold is appropriate—and we frequently do—the Bancroft Station Necklace makes an excellent foundation for layering. Add a shorter chain or pendant at the neckline and let the sculptural stations occupy the space below.
