The Athena Stud Earrings draw inspiration from the enduring ideas of legacy, sisterhood, and personal identity—the things we carry with us long after a particular chapter has ended.
Created as part of The Letter Society in collaboration with Trisha Addicks, Founder of It’s All Greek To Me and author of The Rush Bible, Athena pairs luminous domed chalcedony with a distinctive combination of polished and softly matte 18K gold. Subtle engraved detailing surrounds each stone, adding texture and an architectural quality inspired by heritage insignia and time-honored design.
The contrast is what makes them particularly beautiful. The softly rounded chalcedony tempers the structure of the gold surround, while the interplay of finishes gives the earrings dimension without adding unnecessary ornament.

WHY WE LOVE IT
It is all in the details.
We love the contrast between the luminous chalcedony center and the combination of polished and softly matte gold surrounding it. The engraved texture adds another layer of interest, giving Athena the collected character of something discovered rather than something simply purchased.
They have enough presence to stand alone but remain restrained enough to become an everyday signature. And that is rather the point.

HOW TO WEAR THEM
These are the earrings for the days when a hoop feels like too much and an ordinary stud feels like not quite enough.
Wear Athena with a white shirt and jeans, a favorite knit, or something considerably more polished. Pull your hair back when you want the chalcedony and engraved detailing to have their moment, or let them sit quietly beneath loose waves for everyday.
They also play particularly well with additional petite gold studs when you have more than one piercing—the mix of texture, stone, and polished gold does most of the work for you.

JEWELRY CARE
Beautiful jewelry deserves thoughtful care. To preserve the finish and stones of your Athena Stud Earrings, avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, lotions, household chemicals, and other substances that may affect the surface over time.
We recommend applying fragrance and skincare before putting on your jewelry and allowing those products to dry completely. After wearing, gently wipe the earrings and stones with a soft, dry cloth before storing them separately from other pieces.
Because chalcedony is a natural stone, subtle variations in tone and character may occur from one pair to another. These variations are part of the beauty of natural materials and make each pair uniquely its own.
Always remove your earrings by gently holding the post and backing rather than pulling on the decorative face.

Each pair is constructed to order with the thoughtful finishing and attention to detail expected of B. Rowe & Co. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for construction prior to shipping.

Production timelines are provided as estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
