Three magnolia petals, beautifully layered in brushed gold, the Magnolia Petal Pendant Necklace takes the quiet simplicity of a single petal and gives it movement, dimension, and a rather lovely sense of drama.

Three elongated petals overlap one another vertically, each gently sculpted and finished with a delicate center line inspired by the natural structure of a magnolia petal. Rather than sitting perfectly flat, the petals layer softly over one another, creating subtle depth and allowing the light to move differently across each brushed-gold surface.

And then we gave it a little room to breathe.

Suspended from a 28-inch gold chain with a slightly more substantial profile, the pendant falls lower on the body, giving the sculptural silhouette the presence it deserves. The longer length feels relaxed rather than formal and makes the necklace particularly beautiful against an open neckline, crisp white shirting, or a simple column of color.

The Magnolia Petal Pendant Necklace takes one of the simplest elements in the Magnolia Collection and lets repetition completely change its character.

We love the way the three petals overlap. Each remains individually recognizable, yet together they create a longer, sculptural pendant with beautiful movement and dimension. The subtle center lines provide just enough definition, while the softly brushed gold keeps the overall effect warm and restrained.

The 28-inch length may be our favorite detail. It gives the pendant an easy, almost collected quality—the sort of piece that looks as though you have owned it for years and simply happen to wear exceptionally well.

We designed the Magnolia Petal Pendant Necklace to be one of those rare longer necklaces that requires very little thought.

Start with a white shirt. Leave a button or two undone, add the necklace, and consider the matter handled.

The 28-inch chain also makes it particularly beautiful over linen dresses, fine-gauge knits, cashmere, and simple crewneck silhouettes, where the elongated pendant creates a flattering vertical line. For evening, let it fall against a clean neckline and allow the brushed gold to provide the interest rather than adding more.
